Pass Rusher Reigns as the Ultimate Underrated Titan

The Tennessee Titans There are several players drawing attention at the moment, notably No. 1 overall draft pick and possible new team leader at quarterback, Cam Ward.

Nevertheless, some players are operating below the radar even though they are significant assets to their teams.

Pro Football Focus writer Jonathon Macri pinpointed the least overrated player across each of the 32 teams, and for the Titans, he pointed out that individual as well. pass rusher Arden Key.

"The key figure has had a somewhat nomadic journey throughout his NFL career, having played for his fourth different team over the last seven years after joining the Titans. Initially taking on supporting roles with earlier squads, he transitioned into becoming an essential frontline force for Tennessee, amassing over 700 defensive plays per season along with recording 6 and 6.5 sacks consecutively during his time with them," according to Macri’s account.

In the last four campaigns, Key has accumulated a 77.2 PFF pass-rush rating, placing him at number 38 out of 169 eligible edge rushers from 2021 onwards.

Key, celebrating his 29th birthday this month, is heading into his third season with the Titans, coincidentally during the last year of his contract.

Key began his professional journey as a third-round selection from Louisiana State University, even though he had earned First-team All-SEC honors in his last two seasons there. Initially, he joined the Oakland Raiders for his career kickoff and was part of the inaugural squad that relocated to Las Vegas in 2020.

He then turned into a journeyman, suiting up for the San Francisco 49ers in 2021 and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022 prior to joining the Tennessee Titans in 2023.

Key now has a chance to land one more big contract in his career, and that could come if he has a strong 2025 campaign with the Titans .
