Given how the Broncos' defense appears on paper, this seems likely to be quite a challenge for Ward during his NFL debut. Even without my fervent support as someone thoroughly invested in this team—affectionately known as "Broncomania"—I'd still lean towards backing Denver. While I anticipate the Broncos’ offensive performance might initially lag at the beginning of the season, I certainly don’t foresee the same issues with their defensive lineup.

I find a complete touchdown spread quite excessive for a Week 1 match, possibly because my judgment might be swayed by how poorly the Broncos' offense has performed recently, leading me to anticipate a tight, low-scoring contest. Last season, when Bo Nix played away from home during his debut, he managed only 20 points; perhaps this suggests that such a large point spread isn't entirely far-fetched.

I'll likely hold off until Week 1 is almost here to see how things look, but if you really pressed me, I'd probably go with the under at this early stage.

Summer Food Program Launches in Daviess County

In Daviess County, Kentucky (WFIE), officials from the Daviess County Public Schools are taking steps to ensure that children won't face hunger during the summertime. Their second yearly Summer Feeding Kickoff event was held on Friday. Additionally, children had the opportunity to receive free board games which they could retain for keeps. This marks the start of the DCPS Summer Feeding Program. Connie-Beth Fillman, who serves as the Food Service Director for DCPS, addressed the importance of the occasion. I believe this event serves as an opportunity to bring everybody together so that families can explore what Owensboro has to showcase, understand what our summer meal initiative provides, and learn about our mobile distribution paths. It’s a chance for everyone to enjoy a delicious lunch, have some fun, and then head back ho...
